The group loved Friday morning. It was absolutely brilliant from my perspective and the hats and key rings were such a lovely touch – as well as all the branded signs too. The instructors were amazing and had that perfect balance of knowledge and humour. Really couldn’t fault it!

A quick note to say thank you for a fabulous shoot and fabulous service at the Police Shoot today.
We had travelled from way up north, and one of our team had to be back to work nights tonight. You got us round super quick and really looked after us.
The targets were superb, a great mix - big sky crossers, driven, rabbits, teal and tricky angles. Really enjoyable.

Good afternoon,
Just wanted to drop you a quick message to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to you all there at West Kent Shooting School for such a fabulous Corporate Day today! The weather was on our side to! Thank you for coming round with bottles of water to keep us hydrated and for such a delicious breakfast and lunch!
We all had a great time there at West Kent Shooting School and some of us won’t be giving up our day jobs to become National Grid Snippers ​

Thanks again for your hospitality – we hope to be back again soon!

After applying for my shotgun certificate and to be prepared for a visit from Kent Police Force FIO, on recommendation I chose West Kent Shooting School WKSS for my Shotgun Safety Training. I was so impressed with my instructor - Trevor Hunt and WKSS facilities which includes Club House, food, equipment, cartridges and not forgetting the helpful and friendly staff and other instructors, I took up an annual membership and have continued with periodic lessons.
The benefit of my membership also gives me the ability to practice regularly using a WKSS shotgun whilst awaiting the issue of a Shotgun certificate. Plus I also get the added benefit of free gun hire discounted lessons, clays and cartridges.

A great Welcome from Gillian as we arrived for our corporate event, bacon & sausage roll and a drink for starters.
Some of our party had never shot before but Gillian reassured them of the great day that lay ahead.
I must say I personally have been to quite a lot of shooting grounds but West Kent is in pristine condition.
Our instructor Doug, was very experienced and knew how to get the best out of everyone, even the ones that had never shot before, returning a very credible score.
After the morning practice sessions a heartily lunch was laid on for us and it was excellent.

The traps are very well laid out, with a few surprises in store, Like a flurry from the tower, with three guns & loaders, brilliant!

The weather on the day wasn’t the best, but umbrellas were delivered to the stand (on a golf cart).

The day was a great success, many thanks to all of Gillian’s staff who made this day very special for all in our party that attended.
